At Home Development Inc., we build homes the way we'd want our own families to live in them, with care, attention to the details that matter, and a long view of what makes a house feel like home for years to come. We're a locally owned builder based in East Tennessee, and while we've intentionally stayed small and hands-on, our team brings some serious experience to the table. Together, our 15-person crew has built more than 80,000 homes over the course of their careers with some of the country's most respected national builders. Now, we're channeling that expertise into a different kind of community, built one home at a time, right here in East Tennessee. Most large builders are designed to move fast and push volume. We're built differently. We handle every part of the process ourselves, from selecting the land and designing the floor plans to managing construction on-site. That means full accountability and quality you can see in every detail. We partner with trusted local trades, choose materials that hold up, and sweat the small things that make a home livable for decades. Rebecca Walls (President). Rebecca leads our sales team and personally oversees where we build, which is a big part of why our homes end up in the kind of neighborhoods you actually want to live in. Tracey Daugherty (COO). With more than 20 years in homebuilding, Tracey makes sure every HDI home is built right and on time, with the craftsmanship that comes from doing this work for a long time. When you buy an HDI home, you'll see us on-site, know us by name, and we'll be here long after closing day. Quality you can see. A builder you can trust.
